Toshiba’s Gap-Free™ Sanitary Magnetic Flow Meter is engineered with a unibody design to help reduce the risk of bacterial growth in sanitary applications. Unlike conventional sanitary flow meters—typically constructed from three or more components—Toshiba’s detector is built as a single-piece body, minimizing joints where particles and fluids can accumulate.
With the exception of the electrodes and process connections, the entire flow path consists solely of the Gap-Free™ detector body. This design eliminates common collection points such as gaskets, flanges, crevices, screws, and adapter components. The result is a smooth, continuous surface that supports thorough, efficient cleaning—inside and out.
Toshiba’s Gap-Free™ flow meter is also available in a sanitary capacitance, electrode-less model for the ultimate in total-gap and crevice-free design.
